Nonprofit organizations are unique and add infinite value to the community. The CBC currently has over 90 nonprofit members. Last year, we surveyed our members and asked what issues and priorities your nonprofit faces. We are excited to partner with VonLehman CPA & Advisory Co. again in 2020 to offer free quarterly non-profit lunch and learns to our nonprofit members on the following dates and topics:
- February 11 – How to plan for Successful Events
- May 12 – How to Structure Your Development Department
- August 18 – Social Media Strategies for NPs
- November 10 – Recurring Donor Program
We are also planning a NEW half day nonprofit symposium on risk management scheduled for the morning of October 6. Stay tuned for details.
Not only is the CBC a nonprofit organization, but we advocate for nonprofits and is a voice for the community. Each year, Executive Director Pat Frew travels to Frankfort on Kentucky Nonprofit Day at the Capital. In addition, our nonprofit members can also connect with influential community stakeholders at 100+ networking events a year. These events are scheduled at various times of the day to fit your schedule.
