Statement from the CBC regarding COVID-19

STATEMENT FROM THE COVINGTON BUSINESS COUNCIL

These unprecedented times call for bold measures in battling the potentially deadly COVID-19 virus. The Covington Business Council Board of Directors today unanimously voted to suspend all of its public meetings until April 25. In addition to holding no public events — such as CBC Connects, monthly luncheons, Hard Hat Tours, and socials – during this time, all volunteer meetings, such as board and committee meetings, will be held remotely. The CBC staff also will work remotely when possible.

The health and safety of the CBC staff, our stakeholders, and our community is of primary importance. We will continue to monitor phone and email communications in the upcoming weeks to answer questions or provide assistance to our member businesses. And we will keep you apprised of any updates in the coming weeks.
