The mission of the Covington Business Council is to advocate for a healthy business climate in Covington. Our membership consists of a wide range of small, medium and large businesses located in Covington and throughout Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.
We also believe that thriving communities and businesses embrace individuals from varying backgrounds including ethnicity, gender identity, those with developmental disabilities, those facing age in workplace settings and socio-economic status. In other words, “What you can and can’t see.” We seek intentionality in the way that we champion and celebrate these differences.
We want to be accountable for demonstrating results that show we are doing our part to create opportunity and connectivity for all people, conveying the message that no matter “who you are, whomever you are, you’re welcome here.” We choose not to be defensive when we fall short of the high standards we set and are challenged publicly by individuals or groups. We simply regroup and make renewed efforts to improve next time as we prod all our stakeholders to not make assumptions or assume biases based on our differences.
