COVID-19 Daily Update 3.30

We are entering week 3 of our new unknown with the Corona Virus.  We have more vitual events this week as we continue to provide access to opportunity and growth.

City of Covington providing relief for businesses

Mayor Joe Meyer has signed several executives orders to help local businesses during this crisis, including The Emergency Disaster and Rent & Mortgage Business Assistance Program here.

In addition, construction/renovation permit fees are temporarily waived and the business tax deadline is pushed back 90 days.  Stay updated on all news at https://www.covingtonky.gov/news

Update from the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Governor Andy Beshear pressed Kentuckians on Sunday to remain vigilant about social distancing amid reports of crowding. “We’re at crunch time. The next two to three weeks are pivotal,” said Dr. Steven Stack, commissioner of the Department for Public Health.
