Monya Wyatt is a treasury professional with a 21 year career that spans both for-profit and nonprofit industries. She started her career at Macy’s and eventually became a Treasury Analyst responsible for the cash functions of a $12 billion corporation. After leaving Macy’s, she spent more than 11 years at Chemed Corporation, rising to Director of Cash Management. In that role, she supervised and coached her team to manage the cash functions of a $1 billion corporation.
Her nonprofit experience includes recently serving as E-Commerce and Treasury Coordinator for the Disabled American Veterans and Director of Finance and Operations at the School for Creative and Performing Arts Fund (SCPA Fund) prior to that.
Most recently, Monya completed Northwestern University’s Professional Studies class for Certified Treasury Professionals in preparation for obtaining her CTP accreditation.
Monya’s extensive corporate treasury knowledge has allowed her to assist various nonprofit finance operations and provide recommendations for greater efficiencies and cost-savings benefits. Doing so addresses pain points related to day-to-day tasks.
