It’s a project more than three years in the making. The $4.9 million renovation of the Republic Bank Building at 535 Madison will provide highly coveted move-in-ready Class A office space four vacant floors in the building.
The development is capped with a rooftop bar/restaurant providing a Chef Driven Elevated Dining experience with a focus on open-fire cooking, wine and cocktails. The restaurant will provide sweeping 360-degree views of the Ohio and Licking Rivers. Forty jobs are expected to be filled at the restaurant and another 40 in the office space below.
The developer, Sparen Construction, was attentive in keeping historical features such as original woodwork, ornate tile, iron railings and high ceilings. Manning Construction, restauranteur Bill Whitlow and Work Architecture + Design complete the team making this impactful project possible.
