Hard Hat Tour and After Hours

The Victorian at Riverside, formerly known as Covington Ladies Home, is excited to enter its 135^th year with a new state of the art 20,000 square foot expansion. This Personal Care residence for senior women will double its capacity and be able to now serve up to 40 area Ladies. Anchoring the corner of 7^th and Garrard streets for over a century, the board and trustees of this non profit have taken painstaking care working with architect Robert Ehmet Hayes and Associates and Ashley Construction Company to architecturally complement the original Victorian building and the surrounding homes in the historic Licking Riverside neighborhood. In addition to the 40 resident rooms all featuring en-suite baths, the new wing includes a whirlpool tub spa room, a gathering room with a soaring turreted ceiling, an outdoor courtyard and a large dining room with French doors opening onto a terrace. Construction should be completed by May 2021.
