About the Behringer-Crawford Museum

The Behringer-Crawford Museum in Covington, KY, is a gem of Northern Kentucky. The museum was established in 1950 as a natural history museum, and over the years, it has expanded its focus to include the cultural and industrial history of the region. Today, the museum has a vast collection of artifacts that tell the story of the people and industries that have shaped Northern Kentucky.
The museum is located in a beautiful, historic building that was once the home of William Behringer, a wealthy Covington businessman.
